IEEE Treasurer – Northwestern Student Chapter
As the Treasurer of the IEEE Northwestern Student Chapter, I managed and allocated a $5,000 annual budget to support over 20 student-led events, including technical workshops, project showcases, and academic competitions. This involved close coordination with university financial offices to ensure timely funding and compliance with student organization policies.
I developed budget plans, filed procurement forms, and monitored all expense reports. In addition to handling logistics and reimbursements, I prioritized equitable funding across teams, which supported over 50 active student members in their technical growth and extracurricular involvement.
This role strengthened my skills in financial planning, cross-functional communication, and strategic resource allocation. It also reinforced my commitment to building inclusive and technically enriching communities within the engineering department.
